BHI was formed in October 2005 as a partnership between Hesta AG (our former Swiss parent company), and the senior management team of Luwa, Inc. This partnership continues the rich history of Luwa, Inc. (formerly The Bahnson Company) that began in 1915 and continues today. Luwa, Inc. continues to provide air engineering, controlled environmental, piping systems, filtration, fabrication, mechanical and construction management services to our customers across the USA.

Operating under various trade names (Luwa, Luwa Mechanical Systems, Environmental Specialties, Intermech, and Logan), the company provides its systems and services across a wide number of industries. With over 1,000 dedicated employees, bonding capacity of $150,000,000, and offices located in a variety of strategic locations across the USA, Luwa, Inc. is well positioned to assist its clients with the most demanding applications.
